The client already had a website, but was desperate to change it. The site had existed for several years as 3 pages with a very oppressive deep colour template and small amounts of text that were mismatched in terms of font, text size and layout and the site had not been updated, existing purely to communicate contact details.

The client was right in assuming that potential business was being put off by such an unprofessional website, but was afraid that a new site would be expensive.

I interviewed the client and carried out some research on similar businesses and then created this simple but professional looking site as a small wordpress project. Importantly, I created a training document for the client to update the site when required.

Catherine was blown away by her new professional image and although the logo was a quick mockup to put something up while a professional logo was commissioned from a friend of the client, it remains in place and does the job and enabled her to get her new web presence up and running. I completed some basic SEO and google optimising, resulting in a good response and some new clients.
